AD18 is Canada's paid-only classifieds platform. It is built for cleaner listings, clearer intent, and fewer low-effort posts.
Why are listings paid?+
Paid listings help reduce spam, fake posts, and throwaway ads. The goal is to keep AD18 more intentional than free-for-all classifieds platforms.
Is browsing free?+
Yes. Visitors can browse and search listings for free.
Do I need an account to post?+
Yes. You need an account to post an ad, manage listings, view payment history, and access your dashboard.
Posting ads
How do I post an ad?+
Select Post an Ad, choose a category and location, add your listing details and photos, select a posting option, then review and checkout.
What categories can I post in?+
AD18 supports categories such as Buy & Sell, Events & Nightlife, Jobs & Gigs, Local Services, Models & Creators, Online Services & Digital Help, and Community & Activities.
What should I include in my listing?+
Use a clear title, accurate description, correct city and province, relevant photos, and dedicated contact fields when available.
Can I put my phone, email, or social link in the description?+
Use the dedicated contact fields for phone, email, or social links. Descriptions should focus on the listing itself.
Can I edit or upgrade my ad later?+
Eligible ads may be renewed, promoted, or upgraded from your dashboard where those options are available. Live ads include one approved edit per paid run for core listing details such as title, description, location, contact information, photos, tags, and price where allowed. Edits may require review before appearing publicly. Expired ads can be reviewed and edited during renewal before payment, but they will not become public again until renewal payment is completed.
How long does my ad stay live?+
Ad duration depends on the posting option you choose, such as 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, or 30 days.
Pricing and payments
How much does it cost to post?+
Pricing varies by category and duration. Base listing prices are shown on the Pricing page and during the posting flow before checkout.
Are add-ons required?+
No. Add-ons are optional. You can choose them while posting a new ad or later by upgrading an existing listing.
What add-ons are available?+
Available add-ons may include Urgent Badge, Multi-Category Placement, Boost Listing, Featured Listing, and Homepage / Carousel Placement.
Are taxes included?+
Listed prices exclude applicable taxes. Taxes may apply based on your province or territory and are shown before checkout.
What payment methods are accepted?+
Visa cards and cryptocurrency are accepted at checkout.
Are refunds available?+
Ad purchases are generally final because they are digital posting services. Limited exceptions may apply for duplicate charges, overpayments, platform errors, or verified fraud. Review the Refund Policy for full details.
Reviews, safety, and policies
Why is my ad pending review?+
Some ads may be scanned or reviewed before becoming publicly visible. This helps keep AD18 cleaner and aligned with platform rules.
Can AD18 remove my ad?+
Yes. AD18 may reject, hide, remove, or restrict ads that violate platform policies or applicable laws.
What content is not allowed?+
Prohibited content includes scams, illegal content, misleading listings, prohibited services, and sexual or escort-related services. Review the Acceptable Use Policy for full details.
